Apostilles go to countries in the Hague Apostille Convention. For other countries the office issues a certificate of authority. We can help you with an apostille request.

- Order form. Fill in the office’s order form with your contact details, the destination country and a return address.
- Notarized documents. They need the signer’s signature, a notarial certificate, the notary’s signature, the commission expiration date and a seal that reproduces clearly. Photocopied signatures are refused.
- Vital records. Bring a certified copy issued by the vital records office. The Lieutenant Governor’s office will not authenticate a photocopy.

UAS also notes that transcripts received opened, faxed or photocopied are not official. Ask the evaluation service what translation it requires before you order.
