Bellevue College rules for transcripts not in English

Bellevue College’s international credit page asks for two separate documents when a transcript is not in English: the original transcript in the native language and a professional translation. The college states: “We can only accept translations from a licensed translator. Please request a line-by-line translation.” It also notes that FIS, WES or AACRAO evaluation reports are not official transcripts.

The page has country notes too. Applicants from India submit attested copies of mark sheets, and applicants from Russia request a new Diploma Supplement or Academic Record. Check with the college’s evaluations office that a given translator meets its definition before you order.
